Start with the application, not the datasheet

TPU covers a wide stiffness range. Our 65A–95A series lets you tune a part from silicone-like softness to near-PLA rigidity, but the right choice depends on how the part is loaded, flexed and printed.

Quick selection guide

TPU 65A–70A: maximum flexibility and elongation (up to 570%). Best for wearables, soft robotics, gaskets and vibration isolation.

TPU 75A–80A: the balanced zone between flexibility and throughput. For phone cases, straps, wheels and functional prototypes that must flex daily.

TPU 85A–90A: stiffer and faster to print. For bushings, bumpers, seals and structural dampers.

TPU 95A: firmest grade, 52 MPa tensile strength, closest to rigid engineering behavior while remaining flexible enough to absorb impact.

Three practical checks

1. How many flex cycles per day? Higher cycles favour softer grades. 2. Does the part carry load? Load-bearing parts move toward 90A–95A. 3. What is your printer? Soft grades need direct-drive extruders and slower speeds below 30 mm/s.

Still unsure? Send us the application and we will recommend a grade with verified printing profiles.
