Material Overview
PLA+ is an impact-modified PLA formulation that keeps the easy printing of standard PLA while delivering significantly higher toughness, layer adhesion and heat resistance. It is the practical bridge between consumer-grade PLA and engineering materials for functional prototypes and production parts.
Properties
- Density 1.24 g/cm3; tensile strength 55 MPa; elongation at break 15-25%; improved impact resistance; better interlayer bonding than standard PLA; higher thermal stability under load.

- Retains PLA printability with minimal warp; noticeably tougher than standard PLA; improved layer-to-layer bonding for functional parts; still low-odor and enclosure-free; ideal drop-in replacement for PLA workflows.
Printing Parameters
- Print temperature: 200-225 deg C; bed: 50-60 deg C; speed: 40-70 mm/s; nozzle 0.4mm recommended; dry at 45-50 deg C for 4h to avoid stringing.
